Description
The CK-80 is one of Ohana’s early Limited Edition concert ukuleles, back when we began to seek out quality indigenous woods suitable for ukulele-making. The soundboard is made of solid Port Orford Cedar (also known as White Cedar), with solid Myrtle back and sides. Both woods’ native range is limited to southwest Oregon and northwest California.
The light Port Orford Cedar and golden hue of the Myrtle wood, are accented with Maple binding and a rope style rosette and purfling to create a stunning-looking instrument. The combination of these tonewoods enables the CK-80 to project brightly and maintain a full mid-range tone.
